Toughened Glass Splashbacks are the most popular splashback choice and with good reason. Toughened glass is easy to clean and is available in an almost endless range of colours and prints.
Glass Splashbacks in a kitchen need to be toughened to ensure that they can withstand the heat. Our Toughened Glass Splashbacks are 6mm thick, Heat Resistant Safety Glass.
You can choose almost any colour in the world for your new coloured glass splashback. Check out our gallery below to help you choose a colour that works with the rest of your kitchen.
There are 4 types of Toughened Glass Splashback.
Clear Glass Splashbacks
Clear Glass Splashbacks contain a higher iron content, which makes the glass appear green in colour and can alter the appearance of the original paint colour beneath — mainly used for darker colours, or “white on clear” which is a classic and popular contemporary style. Clear Glass is cheaper than Starphire Glass.
Starphire Glass Splashbacks
Starphire Glass Splashbacks contain a lower iron content, which provides a higher-clarity finish than Clear Glass. Starphire Glass is suitable for most splashbacks and all Digitally Printed Splashbacks.
Digitally Printed Glass Splashbacks
Glass HQ can print an image of your choice onto 6mm Starphire Glass. Talk to us about this simple process. You are only limited by your imagination.
Mirrored Glass Splashbacks
These are a great choice if you want to open up your space by bouncing light & reflections around the room. Mirrored Glass is available with a silver or bronze tint. As with all our splashbacks, mirrored glass is 6mm thick heat resistant safety glass. Please note: Mirrored splashbacks reflect what’s on your kitchen benchtops, including all your clutter and mess, so please be 100% sure this product suits your lifestyle.
